Our Friends play a vital role in supporting the orchestra. Their generous contributions help us to continue presenting high-quality classical music to audiences throughout Rutland and the surrounding counties.

How much does it cost to become a Friend? 

There is no minimum amount to become a Friend, although we do encourage a minimum of £40 per season, which is similar to how much our players pay to be a member of the orchestra . 

How do I sign up?

Simply contact us via email at rutlandsinfonia@gmail.com for further information and to sign up as a Friend. A Friends donation is considered to be per season (Sept to July), although we welcome donations at any time.

Direct debits are very welcome, as are larger donations.

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also sign a Gift Aid declaration, which entitles Rutland Sinfonia, as a Registered Charity, to reclaim from the Government tax you have already paid, thus increasing the value of your gift at no extra cost to you.

What does my Friends donation go towards?

Contributions from Friends help towards the cost of hiring music, paying for our soloists, printing of our programmes, and hiring the venues where we perform.
