Welcome to the Rutland Sinfonia.
The Rutland Sinfonia is an amateur orchestra based in Oakham. Founded 34 years ago, we aim to bring high quality orchestral music to smaller towns and villages in rural areas in and around Rutland.
The Sinfonia presents an imaginative repertoire of music for medium to large orchestra and our programmes include both well known popular works and lesser known pieces that merit greater public attention.
We perform four concerts each season - three at Oakham School Chapel in Oakham and one in St Peter’s Church in Oundle. Please see the Concerts page for details.

NEWS: The Rutland Sinfonia is looking for a new permanent leader. There are 3 Friday evening rehearsals for each concert plus one on the Saturday afternoon. The position attracts an honorarium of £150 per concert. For more details please contact our Secretary Madeleine Stanley.
